A 46-year-old man was discovered unresponsive outside his home in Talau, Vava’u, prompting an ongoing police investigation.
Police confirmed receiving a call about the incident and dispatched officers to the scene. Senior officer Halatoa Taufa told Tonga Broadcasting, “The man was rushed to Prince Ngu Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.”
The body is currently at Prince Ngu Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Authorities have not disclosed further details as investigations continue.
Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist the inquiry.
