The Tonga Golf Club launched its 2025 season last Saturday attended by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Tupouto’a.
Club captain Kapeli Leone expressed deep appreciation for the Crown Prince’s presence, saying, “We are humbled and honoured by your continuous support and devotion to the Tonga Golf Club.”
The day’s festivities were sponsored by Mr. Joe Zhao and his Emerald Hotel & Restaurant. “Thank you, Joe, for your loyal and ongoing support and dedication to the Tonga Golf Club,” said Leone.
Despite cyclone warnings earlier in the week, 16 teams competed for the championship title which went to Team Sekona Pole clinching this year’s Season Opening Competition.
