The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the release of the 2024 Form 2 Secondary Entrance Examination (SEE) results.
An exceptional achievement was recorded in English, where one student earned a perfect score of 100—the first in the subject since SEE’s introduction at the Form 2 level.
Notably, 36% of students achieved an aggregate score of 200 or above, a marked improvement from 25% last year. Subject scores also saw gains, particularly in Science, English, and Lea Faka-Tonga.
A total of 51 schools, including 50 Government Middle Schools (GMS) and one mission school, participated across Tongatapu, ‘Eua, Ha‘apai, Vava‘u, Niuatoputapu, and Niuafo‘ou.
This year, 1,399 students sat for the examination, up from 1,325 in 2023, with students tested in English, Mathematics, Science, and Lea Faka-Tonga.
Results are available for collection from respective schools. Students seeking recounts or re-scores can submit requests in January 2025.
