As the Legislative Assembly prepares to resume on March 31, Hon. Siaosi Sovaleni is leading a parliamentary financial review.
As Chairman of the Public Accounts Standing Committee, Hon. Sovaleni, had started public consultations this week, deliberating on the Auditor’s Report (April 2021–March 2023).
Sessions with His Majesty’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Education and Training have been completed.
Sovaleni will continues the review with the Ministry of Justice, the Police, and the Ministry of Tourism this week.
These consultations aim to ensure transparency and accountability in government spending before the full Assembly reconvenes.
