The village of Hangai Tokelau in Tokomololo, Tongatapu, has successfully completed its clean water distribution network, a collaboration between the People of Japan and the Tonga Water Board.
This project significantly improves access to safe drinking water, essential for the health and well-being of the community.
“This successful collaboration marks a major milestone for the village,” said Engineering Manager Mr. Quddus Fielea.
“It brings joy and relief to the community, offering a lasting impact on their quality of life.”
Fielea led the initiative, with the support of his officers, Mr. ‘Atolofi Tu’ineau and Mr. Telekihi Tu’uhetoka.
Their dedication ensured the completion of the distribution network just before Christmas, providing residents with a reliable water supply for the festive season.
