The Business Link Pacific’s Small Grants Facility (SGF) is offering grants up to TOP $6,000 to boost micro and small businesses in Tonga and across the Pacific.
This initiative, led by the Tonga Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI) in partnership with Business Link Pacific (BLP), supports enterprises led by women, youth, people with disabilities, and community-driven businesses that have not previously received BLP funding.
“BLP’s Small Grants Facility offers invaluable support for community-focused businesses ready to expand and innovate,” TCCI said in a statement.
Proposals should demonstrate clear social or economic benefits, such as job creation or market growth, to improve applicants’ communities. Required documents include business registration, financial records, and a project plan.
Grants must be directed toward impactful business improvements, such as expansion, new product development, social inclusion, access to additional funding, or climate initiatives. Regular operating costs, debt repayment, and unrelated expenses are ineligible.
To qualify, applicants must employ fewer than 20 people and have been operational for a minimum of six months. The SGF also requires applicants to possess a valid bank account and be officially registered or able to register in their home country. Eligible countries include Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, and others across the Pacific.
