Israeli forces launched new incursions into southern Lebanon, allegedly breaching a ceasefire agreement, Lebanese media reported on Thursday.
Troops backed by tanks, military vehicles, and a bulldozer entered Beit Lif and the outskirts of Bint Jbeil, according to state news agency NNA.
Fires were set in homes in Aita-roun, while Israeli warplanes targeted a vehicle and a building Israel claimed was an arms depot.
This follows earlier advances into Qantara and Taybeh in Marjayoun district, where Israeli forces reportedly burned several homes.
The violations bring the total breaches of the November 27 truce to 336.
Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri urged Israel to uphold the ceasefire.
Hezbollah has warned of decisive action once the 60-day truce concludes, emphasizing its readiness to defend Lebanese sovereignty.
“We will not allow the [Zionist] enemy to advance its agenda,” said Hezbollah Deputy Leader Sheikh Naim Qassem.
