Members of Parliament continued their 2025 constituency this week across Tongatapu and Vava’u.
Hon. Siaosi Sovaleni met with residents of Ngeleʻia and parts of Kolofoʻou last evening at the Church of Tonga. The visit is part of a week-long program from July 14–23, following a planning session with the Tongatapu 3 Constituency Council on Saturday.
The MP’s next public meetings will be held at the Anglican Church in Pahu on Tuesday for Pahu and ʻAmaile residents, and at the Free Wesleyan Church Hall in Pili on Wednesday. Additional gatherings in Mataika, Fasi mo e Afi, Halaleva, and Maʻufanga are scheduled for later in the week.
Beginning Thursday, Hon. Sovaleni will visit local schools, including GMS Fasi, GMS Ngeleʻia, and St. Joseph Business College. He is also expected to inspect roads, lighting, and women’s development projects.
Meanwhile, Tongatapu 4 MP met Bay ʻO Manumataongo residents last evening, while Tongatapu 1 MP Tevita Puloka heldsa meeting in Longolongo.
Vavaʻu MPs are also active: Hon. Mo‘ale ’Otunuku (Vavaʻu 14) visited Vaimalo, ’Otunuku and Tu’anuku; Hon. Viliami Uasike Latu (Vavaʻu 16) met Ta’anea and Houma locals this week. And Vaváu 15 Hon. Samiu Vaipulu was in Neiafu last evening.
