One hundred and forty five graduates from the University of the South Pacific (USP) celebrated their academic success at the Fale Masiva Hall in Havelu last Friday.
Prime Minister Hu’akavameiliku attended as Guest of Honour, alongside USP’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Pal Ahluwalia. In his speech, Professor Ahluwalia praised the graduates’ perseverance and acknowledged the support from their families.

Notably, many female graduates were honoured amongst those who earned certificates, diplomas, and degrees. PM Hu’akavameiliku congratulated all graduates for their achievements and wished them bright futures ahead.

A key moment was USP’s recognition for rising 200 places in global rankings, now in the top 801-1000 universities worldwide.
