Samoa and Tonga will represent Oceania in the 2025 World Sevens Challenger Series after intense finals at the Oceania Sevens Rugby tournament in Honiara on Sunday.
Manu Samoa Sevens emerged victorious in the men’s final, defeating the Fiji Development team 17-12 to claim first place.
In the women’s competition, the Manusina Sevens fell 14-5 to Fijiana in the final.
Despite the loss, the Samoan women secured qualification as Fiji is already a core team in the HSBC SVNS Series.

Tonga’s men’s team earned their spot by overcoming Tuvalu in the third-place play-off with a narrow 24-19 victory.
