The Tonga Breast Cancer Society (TBCS) has expressed deep gratitude to its partners, donors, and supporters, highlighting the Tanoa International Dateline Hotel for its most recent contribution on January 13, 2025.
Cassandra Lupe’eva Moala-Mafi, the hotel’s Conference Coordinator, handed over the donation on behalf of Area General Manager Jason Strickland. Moala-Mafi emphasized the hotel’s dedication to community health.
“The Tanoa Group is incredibly proud to continually support organisations and community groups dedicated to developing healthy, positive, and thriving communities,” she said.
“Since the establishment of the Tanoa International Dateline Hotel in 2016, we have remained committed to supporting the Tonga Breast Cancer Society… ensuring that no one faces this challenge alone.”
The society, heavily reliant on donations, praised Tanoa Hotel’s unwavering generosity, which helps fund education and support services for those affected by breast cancer in Tonga.
“We are committed to ensuring support for breast cancer survivors and their families remains strong,” TBCS said in a statement. “This generosity empowers us to create lasting impact.”
As the Society finalizes its 2024 accounts, its Executive Committee is preparing to release an official statement of thanks to all contributors.
Plans for 2025 initiatives will be shared at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
