Team Tonga is set to compete at the 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Chuncheon, South Korea, from October 1-6. Representing the Kingdom of Tonga are young athletes Atiola Vitapa and Taufa Naufaho, who will showcase their talent on the global stage alongside 963 competitors from around the world.
The team is supported by a dedicated group of leaders, including Grand Master Baikuyoon Pil as Head of Team, Master Paul Sitapa as Head Coach, Viliami Iongi as Trainer, and Annie Malolo as Team Manager.
This event provides an yet another opportunity for Tonga’s athletes to demonstrate their skills and compete against the world’s best in taekwondo.
