The agreement was signed by Tonga’s Prime Minister, Honourable Hu’akavameiliku, and Dominica’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Honourable Dr. Vince Henderson.
This Joint Communiqué signals a commitment by both nations to foster friendship and cooperation across various sectors, grounded in the principles of the United Nations Charter and International Law. The agreement aligns with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, aiming to strengthen mutual ties.
The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, will be notified of this new partnership, and the communiqué will be shared with all UN member states.
