The Ministry of Education and Training has officially released the 2024 Tonga Form Six Certificate (TFSC) examination results today.
A total of 1,349 students sat for the exams across 26 schools, including 12 in Tongatapu and 14 in the outer islands. This is a slight decrease from the 1,490 candidates in 2023.
The Ministry noted that this year’s results do not include individual scores or Qualify/Not Qualify performance statuses. Enrollment in Seventh Form will be determined by each recipient school.
In 2024, 34 Distinction grades were awarded. Tonga High School excelled in Physics, Accounting, Computing & ICT, History, and Mathematics.
Liahona High School earned distinctions in Accounting and Computing & ICT, while Takuilau College achieved distinctions in Geography. Other schools recognized include ‘Eua High School in Accounting and Tupou High School in Lea Faka-Tonga (Tongan language).
Three students stood out for achieving two distinctions each—two from Tonga High School and one from Liahona High School.
The results are being disseminated through student’s respective schools.
The re-score process will run from 6–17 January 2025.
