Tonga National University (TNU) celebrated its inaugural graduation ceremony yesterday December 4th at the new Tonga High School Stadium.
A total of 210 students received their certificates and degrees in a historic event presided over by His Majesty King Tupou VI, TNU’s first Chancellor.

The King was joined by Prime Minister Hon. Hu’akavameiliku and Vice Chancellor Dr. Tangikina Steen in awarding the qualifications.
The university, established in 2023, encompasses four faculties: Education, Arts and Humanities; Science and Technology; Nursing and Health Sciences; and Business and Public Administration.
