Tonga Police are appealing to the public for information regarding the circumstances surrounding a critical injury case involving Viliami Taulaki.
Early Thursday morning, January 9, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Taulaki was admitted to Vaiola Hospital with severe head injuries. He is currently in critical condition and on life support in the ICU.
According to police, Taulaki was last seen by his family around 11:00 p.m. on January 8. By 3:00 a.m., he was no longer at home. Hours later, he was discovered injured on Hala Hihifo by occupants of a black Toyota Bb, who were en route to an early morning service.
The individuals who found Taulaki immediately transported him to Vaiola Hospital. Tonga Police thanked the individuals and asked them to assist further if they have additional information.
“Even the smallest detail could benefit our investigations,” police urged in a statement.
