Fiji Airways has boosted regional connectivity with the addition of two ATR 72-600 aircraft to its subsidiary, Fiji Link, promising more travel options for Pacific neighbors, including Tonga.
“These two new ATR aircraft are a significant investment in Fiji’s domestic connectivity,” said Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways CEO. “They are an important part of our commitment to providing comfortable and efficient travel options for our passengers and offering greater connectivity between our islands.”
With the new additions aiming to meet growing passenger demand and provide reliable, efficient service, Tonga is set to benefit from better connectivity, boosting travel and trade opportunities.
The 68-seater aircraft will serve regional routes, including Fiji Link’s services to Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. .
Fiji Link operates a fleet of ATR 72-600, ATR 42-600, and Twin Otter aircraft across 12 domestic and regional destinations.
