The Ministry of Tourism has released the 2025 cruise ship schedule, marking a promising year for Tonga’s tourism sector.
A total of 30 international cruise ships are set to visit various Tongan ports, including Nuku’alofa, Vava’u, Ha’apai, and Niua.
The first ship, Paul Gauguin, will arrive in Neiafu, Vava’u, on January 14, 2025, at 8:00 am, handled by Transam Tonga and Rising Sun Tours.
Other notable vessels include Costa Deliziosa, MS Arcadia, and Queen Anne, with visits spanning from February to December.
Key tourism agents like Rising Sun and Jones Travel will provide services for visitors, ensuring smooth experiences.
“This timetable is subject to change anytime depending entirely on the international cruise company’s change of routes and weather conditions,” the Ministry highlighted in its announcement.
The final ship, Riviera, will dock in Neiafu, Vava’u, on December 20, 2025, to close of the year.
