Tonga Police have arrested three men and seized cannabis during two raids in Vaini.
Acting on intelligence, the Drug Squad raided a suspected drug distribution site, confiscating two test tubes and five empty packets. A 54-year-old man from Vaini was taken into custody.
Later, a search of a bush allotment uncovered 304.23 grams of cannabis, 5.30 grams of cannabis leaves, two bottle bongs, a test tube, and two bottles containing air gun bullets. Two men, aged 42 and 28, both from Vaini, were arrested.
All three suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
A police spokesperson said, “Community cooperation is vital in our fight against drugs.”
