Tonga’s Appeal Court has dismissed an appeal by Paula Piveni Piukala and Fatai Helu, on the dismissal of their application for judicial review against a decision by the Supervisor of Elections, in regards to Lord Nuku’s election as a Noble’s Representative. The Appeal Court in a judgment on 6 April in dismissing the appeal, stated that they agreed with the Lord Chief Justice’s reasons when dismissing the application. Kacific is providing a satellite-based mobile backhaul solution to improve connectivity in underserved areas, and an enterprise-level back-up service to help mitigate the impact of future outages in Tonga. Toloa (or Tupou College) came from behind to close off the four-day inter-college sports competition as champions for 2021. They ended day 4 and the completion of the 95th sports competition with 35 gold medals, 23 silver, and 11 bronze, for a total of 69 medals.
