Equipment and materials for a new wharf in Ha’ano and Pokatala arrived last week, confirmed the Ha’apai constituency office.
This project follows a parliamentary visit led by Ha’apai 13 MP, Hon. Veivosa Taka.
Taka emphasized the importance of the project, describing it as a “critical need” for his constituents.
This follows the successful completion of a similar wharf project in Faleloa.

As part of the Faleloa wharf development, an arrival and departure house with toilet facilities will also be built.
The new infrastructure is expected to improve transportation and provide essential services for local communities.
