The Police Drugs Enforcement Taskforce continued to make progress last week in the fight against illicit drug activity, arresting two men in connection with drug sales.
A 34-year-old and a 42-year-old were detained and charged with possession of illicit drugs and drug-related utensils. During the raid, officers seized 17 packs of methamphetamine totaling 2.08 grams, along with $1,350 TOP in cash, one portable tablet, and various drug utensils.
Both suspects remain in custody as investigations continue, with police aiming to dismantle further drug networks in Tonga.
